A Walk in the Arroyo Seco

 It was warm but not boiling so we thought we'd take a stroll along the Arroyo Seco in Pasadena.  So happy we did!  Most of the walk was shady and it felt really good to be outside.

San Francisco

 We spent four days in San Francisco.  It was cool (in the 60's) and refreshing.  We walked our butts off and enjoyed the beauty of San Francisco.

We stayed in Priscilla's gorgeous guest apartment in Cole Valley.  We LOVE this neighborhood.  There are tons of restaurants and shops and everything you can want right within walking distance.  And did I mention it was cold!  When we first got there it was foggy and wet.  The next day the sun came out but the air was still cool.  Perfection.

We saw more poppies in S.F. than the entire spring in L.A.

 

When we were away there was a big earthquake near us.  I saw all of the facebook posts about it but when I got home and saw every picture frame askew I knew it was a biggy.  Glad we missed it!

A Day Trip To Santa Barbara with Uncle Bob

It was a perfect day - the traffic was light, the sun came out, we shopped and ate pancakes.  Love spending time with mom and uncle Bob.

I didn't realize this until I saw the photo after I got home:

In the background the Granada Theatre in Santa Barbara is showing "Romancing The Stone."  That was the first time I made money as a promo writer.  And also where I learned about writing for promos and then producing and recording t.v. and radio spots.  So this picture is extra special :)

Not bad for 86 and 84.  I think I have some good genes to carry me through:

Company

 We really enjoyed "Company" at the Pantages.  It wasn't opening night but there was definitely something going on as there was a lot of press and celebrities.  I loved the show.  The singers were very good.  Impressive.
