Finally met in person...

So strange to know someone and consider them a friend but after four years this is the first time we actually met in person.  This is Steve Zuehlke.  He lives in Dallas so that's why I've never seen him in person before.  He finally made it to L.A. and we were able to have dinner at Ca' Del Sole.  It was cute when Vince heard his voice and said, "I can definitely see why you're studying voiceover."  Steve has a great lower gutteral voice that's perfect for vo.

And as if I had planned this...we sat down at the restaurant and a waitress came up and introduced herself and said that she had taken one of my classes years ago and that she thinks I'm one of the nicest people in Hollywood and when she saw the reservation list with my name on it she said, "ooh we have a celebrity dining with us tonight."  Never think of myself that way but I'll take it.  And no Steve, I didn't pre-plan her saying that for your benefit.  Ha ha!

It's Such A Perfect Day...

I'm glad I spent it with you...

We started off our Sunday with a singing practice for Kid #1.  What could be finer than the cool breezes, the sun shining and sitting in the garden at Joce and Zach's house singing Beatles songs?

Mario Tremaine listened in from Dallas and Zach Tenorio played keys.

With Travis Burnette, Wyatt James, Joce Adams, Zach Tenorio, Tara Burnette and Sophie Battle!
After rehearsal we stopped at the Forest Lawn Museum to see the Matthew Brandt show.  OMG!!!  I really loved his art.  So friggen creative!!!
We had Sophie Battle with us today.  Her parents went to an event so she hung out with us for the day.  She is one cool teenager!

A nine hundred page photo album!

After all the creativity it was time to feed the belly...at Baccari
Yum...

After lunch we hit See's Candy and loaded up.  When we got back home we designed a t-shirt for Sophie and then played Boggle.  Sophie kicked my ass every game!

All in all it was a perfect day.

House Party and Joce and Zach's house

Another perfect night of music and friends grooving on said music...

Arc Iris performing:

Molly Jenson joined us at the party:

And so did Wyatt James with his folks Nikki and Chris Allen.

With our dear Jocie Adams.  All three of these people are insanely talented singers.

Mixing the second band...
Vince, drummer from Arc Iris, Jocie, Jocie's brother - who did a great rap to open up the show.  Talent runs in the family.
Wyatt and KiaVictoria who had just finished a set that left us all breathless.  Gorgeous voice!

This girl can sing!
