Last night was one of those times when I'm just so damn happy about my career because its filled with the nicest, warm, caring people that I always wished I'd be involved with.
It all started with this lady - Rebecca Davis. She had a great idea to get vo people together and to leave our usual solitary lives and MINGLE! Such a good idea!
Marabina Jaimes - a longtime friend and vo actor from Santo Bugito (that's the show we worked on together). It's so cute that Vince knows Marabina too (way before I met her). She's like family.
This photo struck me for a few reasons - the guy on the left is Marc Hawes. I've known him for years but this was the first time we met "in person." The lovely lady, Tracy Rooney is a vo actress in one of my classes and she knew both of the guys. In fact, her and Richard Tatum have a longtime friendship. Small world, we're all connected. What I love is that Marc and Richard and I all do similar jobs yet there's not competition. Just friendship and creative endeavors. There's room enough for all of us :)
