Malibu Canyon on a gorgeous day

We were feeling sad by the loss of our friend Larry on Friday so we packed ourselves up and went to Lure in Westlake for a yummy lunch and then took a walk in Malibu Canyon - one of my happy places.  It never disappoints there.

Smokie is Six!

 Happy birthday to my six year old Smokie.  May 18, 2020 was a great day and every day you've been alive is an asset.  This boy makes me smile every day (even though he woke me up at 5:00 this morning by biting my hair).

Mother's Day 2026

Had a lovely visit with Mom on Mother's Day.  Had to share this story: My mom always cracks me up. She had a doozy on Mother's Day. She told me that she told her doctor that she's in good health considering that she's 86. I took a beat, thought about it and reminded her, "mom, you're 88." Her response, "I am?"
