I didn't get the chance to celebrate my birthday this year because my cat was sick and that took the fun out of partying with friends, so I canceled our plans and then we finally all got together on Feb. 26th and celebrated mine and Vince's birthday together. It was so good to see dear friends and have a good vegan meal at Crossroads.
We were tax preparing all morning but we made sure to get out for lunch and then a walk in the park. The flowers are out full force and they call to me all week. I had to get to my happy place.
I worked last Saturday so I had to make-up for it this Saturday. We had breakfast with Mark and Rick and then ran errands, which consisted of buying baked goods at Cake Monkey and then buying a new record at Super Vinyl. After that we dropped everything off and hoofed it up the hill in Griffith Park for some flower viewing. A lovely day was had.
Enjoyed meeting these folks and spending three hours in a workshop teaching/inspiring them to be better actors for voiceover projects. These are very uplifting times events that always put a big smile on my face.
Let's start the new year with a new demo.
