The Go Go's at the Hollywood Bowl July 2, 2018

We had the best time at the Go Go's concert.  

Elizabeth and I were chatting about how we liked traditions.  She made one with us - going to a show at the Hollywood Bowl. Last year it was Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga.  This year, The Go Go's. 

An evening at the bowl is truly one of the most civilized activities that I can think of.  We ate, we listened to the philharmonic, the Go Go's came on, we danced and sang and then there was a fireworks show.  Truly a magical night.

What a blast working with these actors.  All of them were so talented that I was really impressed and kept saying, "wow, this is a really good group!"

Bopping around Beverly Hills

Luckily it was a cool day and perfect for walking around BH.  We had a delish lunch at Gratitude Cafe, stopped at my favorite chocolate house, Teuscher and then walked around Holmby Park and took in the beautiful garden.

How Much Can You Do In 6 Hours?

Picked Tammie up at LAX, walked around Westwood, had breakfast, went to the Hammer Museum, strolled in a park in Beverly Hills and then enjoyed the views from the Greystone Mansion.  Whew!

King Tut's Treasures at the California Science Center

Bravo to Vince who dragged his tuchas out of the house after being sick for two weeks so that we could see the King Tut exhibit.

School of Rock

School of Rock!  I love seeing shows at the Pantages because I remember going there with my Nana when I was just a little kid.  It's always held a magical feeling for me since the theatre is one of the most beautiful buildings I've ever been in.

Malibu Canyon

It's always gorgeous in Malibu but with the rain came green grasses, flowers and water in the streams, all adding to the natural beauty.

Sherry almost got a $300 ticket for bringing her dog in to the park.  Oops, we didn't read the signs and got an earful from the ranger but thankfully he believed us when we told him that we didn't see the sign (Sherry and I were too busy chatting away to notice signs :)
