Ricky answer your phone! It's scary when...

...your friend doesn't answer his phone and he was supposed to have breakfast with us.  We all know that he hates being chained to his cel phone but when we couldn't get ahold of Rick when it was time to go to breakfast the worst scenarios start going through my head so after breakfast we decided to go to Rick's home and do a Wellness Check.

When we pulled up there was a fire truck and ambulance outside.  My heart sunk.  I tried calling Rick but there wasn't an answer.  I tried calling the manager to ask if they'd let me in the building but I got their answering machine.  I was getting scared.  I asked one of the firemen - "did you take a man out of this building?"  Luckily the fire fighter said, "no, we're just doing a mock situation for practice."  Whew!  I was happy to hear that.  Then I said that I was trying to do a wellness check on a friend and I couldn't get in touch with him or the manager."  The fire fighter says, "I'll help you" and proceeded to climb over the fence of the building and let me in.  Be still my heart!  A gorgeous fire fighter helped me!!!

I got in to the apartment building and knocked on Rick's door.  I heard faint music but no answer so the second time I pounded on the door and yelled, "Rick, it's Donna!"   Thank God Rick answered the door.  "Dude, where have you been, we were supposed to have breakfast this morning and you didn't answer our texts and calls."  "Oh, I turned my phone off yesterday and forgot to put it back on."  "Holy shit, I thought something happened to you!"

We went downstairs and met with Vince and Mark.  The ambulance was still there so we took a selfie.  You can see by my smile that I was damn happy that Ricky was alive and well.
