Malibu Canyon

It's always gorgeous in Malibu but with the rain came green grasses, flowers and water in the streams, all adding to the natural beauty.

Sherry almost got a $300 ticket for bringing her dog in to the park.  Oops, we didn't read the signs and got an earful from the ranger but thankfully he believed us when we told him that we didn't see the sign (Sherry and I were too busy chatting away to notice signs :)

Stardust

Stardust - a gorgeous modern dance featuring Bowie Music.  I was in tears at the first note of music (Lazarus).  I heard two other women say they started crying too.

Lunch at the deli

While visiting Lorie and her dad Lenny I also got to have a deli platter fix, which I had been craving for a month.  There's no deli's in our neighborhood.

A Real Trouper

Dedication.
Most actors are dedicated to their work...
But this guy is a real trouper...
He had an accident last night and was at the hospital until 5:00 in the morning but made it to our 9:00 a.m. record session.  What a pro!  And he did a good acting job under the worse circumstances with a smile on his face.

Mick Wingert and Tara Sands:

Talent Week at USC

I enjoyed hanging with Saul and Wes at USC's Talent Week.  The theme was the Collaborative Process of Casting for Animated Films and TV Series.

Oh right...bring cards with me...duh!

Easter

Easter in Solvang with Mom.  We got there on Good Friday and found ourselves at the Santa Ynez Mission:

It was extra pretty being there in spring when everything is green.

We stayed at the Chumash Resort which my mom loves for the gambling and buffet.  You should've seen her plate!

I would like gambling a lot more if they didn't let people smoke in the casino.  This cigarette machine is placed right outside of the "non smoking" gambling area.  Ha ha!

I enjoyed playing video black jack with this guy and I'm happy to report I walked away even after playing for an hour.

Get the windmill in the background!

We stopped at Lake Cachuma on our way to visit Lorie in Santa Barbara.
