Mt. Pinos Elev. 8847

Such a lovely day hiking Mt. Pinos with Beth, Bob and Jerry.  It was in the 90's everywhere else but 75 perfect degrees at Mt. Pinos.   It looked like it was still spring, flowers everywhere.  So pretty.

Moulin Rouge at The Pantages Theatre

Our breakfast club had breakfast at The Breakfast Club.

We braved it and went to the theatre to see Moulin Rouge.  We enjoyed the show and now, fingers crossed, we didn't get covid. This was our first time in an enclosed crowd in 2 1/2 years.

It was a long time to wear a mask.  But really, look at the ceiling.
After three years we finally went to a musical with our theatre buddy Mark Pogachefsky.
Rick didn't come to the musical because of covid concerns so we sold his ticket to this gal.  She was French and it was her birthday so she wanted to treat herself to Moulin Rouge.  She was lovely.

Remembering John Bryant with friends from Klasky Csupo

John passed away in December 2021 without any fanfare.  Most people didn't even know he passed away.  So Yulia decided to throw a back yard gathering to remember John and have a bit of closure.   It was so nice to see old friends from Klasky Csupo days and to raise a glass to John and Everett Peck, two fantastic guys that impacted all of our lives.

Recording Shelley Anderson's Animation Demo

Oh to meet people in person!  I've known Shelley for over a year but this was the first time we met in person.  We zoom study because she lives in Bend, Oregon but she came to L.A. to record her demo.  It's a great excuse to come to our town.

High Tea at the Langham Hotel

A lovely diversion on a hot Sunday afternoon.  We were celebrating my 1/2 birthday.  Yes, Vince spoils me and we celebrate 1/2 bd's.

Jazz night at Jocie's House Concert

This is fast becoming one of my favorite things to do --- hang out in Jocie and Zach's yard and listen to live music.  Three bands last night, all jazz themed.  Wonderful!

Jocie wrote all of the arrangements for the horns, conducted and sang.  Hello talent!

John Andrews was there.  Always good to see him.

Wyatt and Parker.  Two great voiceover actors who I've known for a very long time.  They both sing and are musicians so this was an extra fun night for them.

Listening to one of Arc Iris's newest tracks in the studio.  So damn good!

Recording Everette Plen's Demo

Gonna be a fun one! I had a blast working with Everette. Funny and talented!  What's not to love?
