25 years in the making!

 Celebrating Claire Kay Hernandez's 25 birthday!  We had dinner at The Girl and The Goat which was incredibly delicious.  But the best part is that we had dinner with friends we hadn't seen in years because of the pandemic.  So nice to catch up in person and celebrate Claire's big 25.

There's something so special about January after the rains have turned our hills green.  This picture says it all - the grass is green, sky is blue and there's a burned out tree that reminds us of what will come later this year when everything dries out...Oh Cali I love you anyways.

Why yes, I am walking around with my parka on.  It was cold outside!

The Party is Over...

It's always kind of sad to end the Christmas season.  It's so joyful and fun to enjoy all the decorations and lights....but it came to an end this weekend.  On to the new year and new stuff!

This photo is during Speed Dating With Your Demo.  That's where casting directors, producers and agents meet a new actor every four minutes.  They play their demo and you chat with them.  Many actors have gotten signed from this event.  It's a great way for "them" to meet "us."

Happy New Year!

 It was pouring rain outside but we made our way to Mark's house for a mushroom lasagne feast topped off with chocolate pie.  Decadent eating, long time friends and we made it to midnight!  It's the next day and I'm still full...

Rick decorated a package of granola that I gave him and then didn't have the heart to open it to eat the contents.  Instead he gave it back to me (I gave him a few packages of it) and said to use it for promotional photographs....so here it is...I like the name he gave it.

We promptly put it over yogurt and fruit this morning :)
