Lovely piece. Thanks very much for doing it. Laura Stickney is one of the most important, and least recognized artists in Southern California, if not beyond. The elegance and intelligence of her work seems almost anomalous in our time of vapid popular culture and hucksterism. I would guess that her humility does not leave much room for recognition, so I am very glad that she made time for Donna Grillo's fine interview.
