Christmas

Christmas morning.  TIme to finally open presents!

December 26th - The day I try to work off the past few days of indulgences by hiking up Mt. Hollywood.  But then we went to the yogurt shop after our hike...

Vince and I had a lovely Christmas with his family.  When we got home we rested for a while and then went to our neighbors house and wine and champagne tasted until midnight.  What a great day!


And then Zuri let us sleep in until 8:00 a.m.!  We are blessed :) xoxoxox

There's nothing better then volunteering for a good cause, raising $650 for the Friends of Animals foundation and spending the entire day smiling and laughing so much that my face hurt.


Our last contributor of the day was our dear Nancy Sullivan. I think Santa needed that swig of Jagermeister  after a day of posing with the pups.

Thanksgiving 11/24/11

It's a long drive to Lompoc to visit my mom but I sure perked up playing with Pom Pom, the cutest thing ever.

She especially liked Vince.  

With My Stooges

I love Three Stooges Day at the Alex Theatre.  Thanks Curt for starting such a great tradition.
We usually have lunch at Don Cuco's before the show but sadly the restaurant closed so we needed a new location.  This time we watched the Stooges then walked to the wonderfully tacky Hawaiian themed Damons for dinner and drinks.  So fun.  I had a Chi Chi!

Silverlake Art Collective

We enjoyed some excellent art at the Silverlake Arts Collective show last night.  What a great group of artists!  I'm not always the biggest sculpture fan but this artist was awe inspiring.  He put this big 'ol smile on my face.

And who doesn't love political art?  Can you name the three people in this piece?

One of my favorite artists, Rebecca Pollack, was showing her photography, block prints and etchings.  Can you get any more talented?  This woman has it going on!

Homecoming Prom

Our lovely niece Cecelia with her girlfriends.  I saw a lot of moms and dads tearing up as they watched their kids get on the party bus that would take them to the prom.

One of the best things about our crew is that it's very ethnically and gender diversified.  We're helping skew the horrible record that Hollywood has of using only white men! 
(Sorry white guys but others like to be creative and work too!)

Kiran Turns 30!

At The London for Kiran's classy 30th birthday party.  Vince made this poster.  Not sure if you can tell but she has a golf club in her hand and she just smashed her birthday cake.  Glad I didn't have to clean up after that :)

Halloween has arrived, there's no turning back, the holidays are here!

Had fun celebrating Mark's birthday with him.  We had dim sum in China Town then saw "Bring It On" at the Ahmanson.  Even though I had a killer cold I still had a good time.

We met Richie, Nicole and Matt at the pumpkin patch celebration at Farmers Market.  So fun to see it through a kids eyes.
